Scaled to reflect the character of Eastsound Village, this facility includes three apparatus bays, administrative and living spaces and a large meeting room for training and public use.
As a first step, LEWIS worked with the Fire District to review projections for space needs, assess alternative building sites and prepare a preliminary project budget, all in preparation for a bond election. After the successful funding effort, we proceeded with the design and construction phases.
Building forms and materials were selected to allow the large-footprint building to relate well to the character of the neighborhood. |
