This 22,000 square foot facility occupies a key site in Downtown Burlington. As a part of the project, the surrounding street system was redesigned to incorporate angle parking, pedestrian-friendly crossing points and new landscaping and lighting.
Prior to design work, LEWIS conducted a planning study, which included a look at several potential building sites and the creation of a preliminary budget. A space needs analysis and facility program, completed utilizing LIBRIS Design software, guided the design effort. Inside the new building, patrons are greeted by a coffee and snack vending area in the lobby, signage and displays influenced by the retail industry and public spaces with abundant daylighting. |
